Fish were fed today at 7:45am, 10:00am, 3:30pm, 5:30pm, and 8:00pm. Changed 1 gallon of water today, cleaned the bottom of the aquarium and the filter. There are about FIVE weak ones, but they still appear to have some fight left. Tested the water quality today, nitrite is still a little high but everyone still looks really strong and healthy! One of the fish looked like he might have passed away, and so I took the net to scoop him up, he did not react at all, he just laid there, but once the net began coming out of the water, he began flailing around and going crazy, it scared me because I thought he was dead. Then I released him back into the tank. He wasn't breathing, or moving, when I scooped him up, so it was pretty surprising to see him jump back to life the way he did. It was an interesting experience...I did not know that salmon can play dead so well! I took a few pictures today, too!
